Lincoln is a growing rural university town 20 minutes from Christchurch, Canterbury.The vacancy is a full-time permanent position. You will be a part of an enthusiastic and motivated team. You will be part of our frontline team who are the face of our business.The purpose of the job: To bake products to a high standard so that the items are attractive and appealing, and displays invite customers to purchase.Key requirements:Experience in scratch baking specialty breads, pastry products, and/or cakes would be an advantageDedication to customer serviceWork with speed and efficiencyBe reliableGet on well in a team and communicate effectively at all levelsReliable transport for an early morning 4 am startDays of work to be discussed in interviewKey responsibilities include:Maintaining our Health & Safety and Food Safety StandardsReducing waste through stock rotationBaking doughs, specialty breads, muffins, cakes, pastries, etc.Ensuring shelves are kept well stocked and that displays are appealingBeing customer-focused on the shop floor when filling the display cabinetsQualifications/Certificates need to be sent to us.Applications close: Wednesday 22nd January 2025.
