Working HoursWhen you initially join our team, you will be with a buddy and working rotational AM and PM shifts. Once you have been fully trained, we will then introduce an overnight shift to the rotation. We are looking for talent that have the availability to work the below shift times:
AM - 5am to 1.30pmPM - 1pm to 9.30pmOvernight - 9pm to 5.30amPlease note this role is also a 12 month fixed term contract.
What you'll be doingSampling and testing of in process and final product using methods as per Laboratory ManualEnsuring all laboratory & line equipment is calibrated, in repair and consumables are replenishedParticipating in batch release and other sensory requirementsIdentifying any out of specification (OOS) results in relation to appropriate QCP's, CCP's and final product specifications; raise alert & carry out actions as indicatedWhat's in your toolkit?Has a tertiary degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or similar or comparable experiencePrevious experience in a lab ideally within an FMCG quality environmentUnderstanding and experience in control of HACCP and ISO9001 Quality systems and auditing in the food industry is preferredHighly proactive, pragmatic and solution focusedA continuous improvement mindset – we like to push the status quoIf you're not an expert in all of these areas, don't worry! A lot of what we look for is how you would align with our values and your ability to utilise your unique skills and experience.
