About the role:
Day to day you will assist with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Purchasing for maintenance needs
Managing store stock levels
Supporting with the SAP upgrade process
Ordering and issuing staff clothing
Receipting parts and materials
Updating data in the accrual spreadsheet, ensuring accuracy at all times
Building strong relationships with internal and external teams
Promoting and upholding Nexans' values in all purchasing processes
This is a 40-hour role working Monday to Friday for a Fixed Term period of approximately 3 months
The ideal Purchasing Officer:
Knows their way around SAP
Previous purchasing experience is advantageous
Tech-savvy
Strong attention to detail is a must
Enjoys a varied and busy role
Team player
Honest, reliable, with excellent communication skills
Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
