From our historic Havelock North homestead, we manage 600 hectares of orchards, delivering fresh, delicious fruit year-round.We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in purchasing, inventory management, and export freight coordination who is keen to join us full time.Key Responsibilities:Manage all purchasing needs of the business, ensuring year-round availability of packaging materialsCoordinate export freight operations, including sea freight container booking and loadingEnsure regular stock assessments and manage inventory levelsLiaise with packaging manufacturers and maintain strong supplier relationshipsWork with GM Post Harvest on packaging requirements and new productsOversee compliance with export regulations and quality standardsPrepare and review inventory reports and manage annual bin flow reportingOther ad hoc duties as requiredAbout You:To be successful in this role, you will need:Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in export-oriented industriesStrong understanding of stock control, packaging, and planning processesKnowledge of export freight procedures and documentationExcellent time management and organisational skillsAbility to build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersStrong analytical skills with proficiency in relevant computer systems, particularly Microsoft ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a teamThis is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.
