With an impressive track record in valuing their people, you can be confident you are joining the right business.A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join their growing team and provide leadership and hands-on purchasing and supplier relationship management.The OpportunityAs the Purchasing Manager, you will manage, lead and control all aspects of the purchasing, and supplier relationship management activities.Your responsibilities will include, though not be limited to:Full responsibility for supplier relationship management and purchasing across the New Zealand businessLead, coach and develop the Purchasing Team (of two Purchasing Coordinators)Develop and implement a purchasing planDrive improvements across systems, processes and proceduresEnsure optimal inventory management, purchasing and supply chain performance Manage collaborative key stakeholder relationships across the business – principally in Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Management and Finance Whilst this is largely a hands-on leadership role focused on operational purchasing and planning, there is a clear opportunity to take on further responsibility as the business continues to grow.What's in it for you?You are an experienced Purchasing Manager with demonstrable experience in driving improvements while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
