There is street parking around the offices and a genuine desire for their people to grow and develop in their careers. About the Role: Purchasing of raw materials and office consumables. This role is very hands on and needs attention to detail Receipting Inwards Goods, producing the stock label and ensuring it is attached to the goods Daily processing of production Assembly Orders Maintaining the database of raw materials with relevant supplier purchase prices and product codes Comparing supplier pricing and advising your manager of suggested better buying opportunities Daily stock counts and investigating discrepancies. Packaging purchasing once competent at initial tasks. There are longer lead times for these so require a different process Any other duties as required by the company About You: You will have experience within purchasing and/or inventory control. (Experience within the manufacturing industry would be advantageous) You will come with initiative and ideas of better ways of doing things You will have high attention to detail and strong data entry skills along with a knack for numbers You will have strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be working with suppliers Able to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks at once Be flexible and adaptable to change and be willing to do what is required of the role
