Join our award-winning, specialist publishing company as our Publishing Administrator and support our small sales team by taking charge of our production management of magazines and websites.
Who are we?
Tarawera Publishing Limited is an award-winning company that was established in 1997 when we set up one of New Zealand's first online news sites www.goodreturns.co.nz for the financial services sector. We subsequently launched a number of other magazines and websites, and are now the largest specialist publisher in the personal finance space in New Zealand. Other titles we publish include ASSET magazine and TMM - The NZ Mortgage Mag, tmmonline.nz, and landlords.co.nz.
What will you be doing?
Working 20 hours per week from your home (or anywhere else in NZ!) or our Rotorua-based offices, you'll be responsible for:
Managing magazine production
Updating websites
Managing online ads (Google Ad Server experience is a plus)
Managing email newsletters and databases
What skills should you have?
Ideally, you will:
Have experience in a similar administration/publishing support role
Have a methodical, organised nature, with great attention to detail
Have a pleasant, friendly personality
Always act professionally
Communicate effectively, with good verbal and written English
Have strong writing skills
Be good with numbers
Be very competent with digital tools and services
Be proactive, with a positive attitude
Be adaptable, with solid problem-solving skills
Be motivated, self-managing, responsible and self-learning
Always meet deadlines, prioritise effectively and multi-task where necessary
Work effectively in a close-knit team
