You'll understand brand and tone of voice, have copywriting and publicity experience, be up to date with emerging social trends and digital best practice, and be ready to inject your knowledge and passion for local pop culture into your mahi.Key responsibilities include:Developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing the publicity and marketing strategy and activity plans for both sites.Advice to and working with the teams to maximise publicity & marketing opportunities.Experience and attributes:Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related fieldMinimum of three years' experience in a similar roleAbility to align website content with a receptive audiencePassionate, knowledgeable and curious about Aotearoa New Zealand's screen and popular music historyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInsight-driven – you can spot trends, and areas for change and growthStrong attention to detail, and ability to prioritise competing deadlinesA reasonable level of competency with Mailchimp, Meta, Twitter, Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, the various social media platforms and software associated with Adobe Creative Suite is a definite advantageYou are motivated, you can operate independently and show initiative while working as part of a passionate teamEmbody Digital Media Trust's valuesThe position will suit someone with at least three years of experience in a similar publicity/marketing role.Please note: you must be a NZ resident; it is a work-from-home role based in Auckland (with travel to Wellington on a regular basis).About DMTEstablished in 2012, Digital Media Trust (DMT) is an independent charitable trust that produces two websites; 'NZ On Screen' and 'AudioCulture'.
