Job Description

Ensure working knowledge of all hotel public areasEnsure cleaning schedules are completed in a routine and timely mannerLiaise with Housekeeping Supervisor in relation to chemical usage, problems or rectification suggestionsContribute to Housekeeping Departmental MeetingsMaintain knowledge of special programs and events in the hotel in order to recognize and respond to guests needsMaintain current Hotel information to be able to provide information to guestsAssist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their requestsComplete tasks as directed by ManagementRefer major complaints to managementOperate equipment safety and sensiblyMaintain stock levelsRecycle where possibleConversant with emergency evacuation and fire procedures for relevant departmentWorks in line with business requirementsCreate a positive hotel image in every interaction with internal and external customersInteract with department and hotel staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two way communication Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalentCommunication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.Able to speak, read and write EnglishSome housekeeping experience.
