This role offers autonomy, allowing you to work independently while being responsible for the New Plymouth and Hawera community regions plus coverage at Whanganui Prison. Travel to Whanganui, approximately two days per fortnight, will be required, with expenses covered by the Department. You'll receive extensive support from the Palmerston North team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to dive into diverse clinical tasks, specialising in assessing and intervening with people at high-risk of reoffending, contribute to trauma-informed care and conduct neuropsychological assessments. Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and allocated professional development funding. We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.International Relocation PackageAra Poutama has relocation packages available for candidates relocating from overseas.
