This role is vital to the mental health of our children and young people across Taranaki as you will be supporting them through their journey along with their whanau. This role will be working within the community and within our integrated model of care.ResponsibilitiesUndertake assessments, formulations and goal planning with children, young people and their whanauProvide client-centred care, utilising evidence-based therapies and strategiesCoordinate care at the right time with input from the wider team and external providersProvide Psychology consultancy and support to the wider teamAbout youWe are looking for:Permanent full-time Clinical Psychologist with current Practicing Certificate based in New Plymouth with travel to South Taranaki required.Passion for Mental Health Addictions, exceptional interpersonal communication skills.Experience and confidence undertaking neuropsychological assessments and interpretation.Experience within specialist Child Adolescent Mental Health preferredExcellent assessment, communication relationship building skillsFlexibility to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary teamUnderstanding and application of the principles of the treaty of Waitangi, with a culturally safe and appropriate approach to practiceIf you want to make an application click on "Apply Online" from within this page.For further information, please contact Ross Ekdahl on Email: ****** Close 15 December 2024By joining together, we will succeed.
