We're after a number of Protection Engineers across EDB and consultancy clients!

The Role:
As a Protection Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role within our team, it is busy, and we're growing!
Your responsibilities will include:
Oversee and evaluate all protection and control scheme designs and configurations.
Ensuring resilience and risk management are at a sustainable level.
Identify, gather and review incidents to assess the effectiveness of the protection and control schemes.
Providing technical expertise on protection and control requirements.
Develop protection and control design maintenance standards
Develop protection schemes.
Develop relay configuration.
Design and oversee protection settings.
Ensure detailed and technical protection reports are written and provided in a timely manner
What you bring to the role:
An appropriate tertiary-level qualification in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of industry experience in protection engineering
The ability to run protection projects alongside clients
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
Competency in auditing, root cause analysis, and risk management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
