About the Role Reporting to the Pre-contracts Manager, this dynamic role will see you collaborating with Bid and Business Development Managers to secure exciting new projects for McConnell Dowell.
Key Responsibilities To provide a customised proposal for each Client that is relevant, aligned, compelling and which presents an accurate presentation of company experience, capability, attributes, intent, and methodology.
To manage and coordinate the timely responses to EOIs, tenders and marketing exercises in conjunction with Bid Managers and BD Managers.
Accountable for leading the Proposals team, including the active management of the writing and graphic design team members to deliver quality and timely EOIs, tender submissions and marketing exercises as required.
Maintain and enhance the Proposals Team resource library including CVs, project information, marketing materials and other relevant information.
To contribute to continuous improvement in the New Business Team within MCD NZ/Pacific.
Actively display the MCD values in all aspects of working life at MCD.
About You A tertiary qualification in Law, Marketing or Communications/Journalism is preferred but not essential.
A minimum of five years' experience in an engineering, submissions or marketing position.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Can work to tight and demanding deadlines without a decline in quality of work.
Ability to prioritise and work across multiple projects at once.
Work independently, as well as leading the proposals team.
Confidence and calmness, ability to work under the stresses of a submission deadline.
Strong interpersonal skills – cooperative, timely and communicative.
