Full Time Application Closes 25 Jul 2024 Taranaki - New Plymouth Business Operations Specialist Who are you?We are looking for someone to join our fast-paced team as our Property Operations Manager in a fixed term capacity for 12 months.
This role is responsible for the daily and strategic functions of TSB Property Operations team.
This role manages and coordinates daily property and purchasing activities, delivering efficient responses to requests from the network, ensuring property processes and procedures are effective and optimised, and maintaining compliance always.The role also supports the Head of Commercial and Property in delivering effective, strategic property solutions through a range of tasks and duties.About you: You're someone with strong organisational ability, an effective communicator with commercial acumen, and can demonstrate knowledge in compliance and regulatory requirements You'll be responsible for proactively managing contracts and contractual arrangements in delivering a facilities management program for TSB property You'll have experience in improving productivity and the utilisation of internal resources to streamline efficiency through your strong analytical and financial skills to manage costs and results Your communication and negotiation skills will be used to manage contracts to agreed service levels in providing a quality work environment for our people.
You'll are willing to be hands-on, when required, to get the job done as well as being able to provide afterhours emergency response for 2 weeks out of every 6 weeks on rotation Some of your key responsibilities will include: Work alongside, and manage, the Property Operations team to complete repair requests and regularly report on requests completed Ensure TSB adheres to all necessary regulations and standards for construction, health, safety, and security Working closely with the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing to embrace a culture of high performance around health and safety management of TSB's sites and contractors Track progress reports and financial records for all projects related to managing properties and operations, demonstrating strong financial management Oversee all TSB physical security systems and requirements, including issuance of security passes, alarm codes, CCTV cameras and alarm response management Support and organize ongoing professional communication with stakeholders to ensure that service requests are met with best practice Manage and organise the team workload, making sure everyone has meaningful roles and achieves their goals, together with developing and guiding team members to build further capability To succeed in this role, you'll need: Experience in driving operational activities to ensure quality is achieved, work is completed to schedule, and rework is minimized.
An understanding of SLA driven delivery environments and how to manage them.
Current working knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Ownership, commitment and an ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communicator who can work and achieve autonomously, as well as collaboratively.
