Property Manager (Part-Time Contractor)

Team Property Management specialises in providing exceptional property management services to owners and tenants across Wellington. Our commitment to quality and personalised service ensures that both owners and tenants receive the support they need for a seamless rental experience.We are seeking a motivated and dependable Property Manager to join our team on a part-time contractor basis, with huge potential to grow into a full-time position. This role is pivotal in supporting CBD apartment owners and tenants by ensuring properties are well-maintained, tenants are carefully selected, and day-to-day issues are efficiently resolved.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance and maintenance standards.Source, screen, and vet prospective tenants to ensure the best match for each property.Address day-to-day tenant concerns, including maintenance requests and tenancy issues.Prepare and complete detailed property reports, including condition assessments and inspection outcomes.Provide exceptional service to apartment owners and tenants, fostering positive relationships.Key Attributes:Self-Starter: Able to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.Responsible and Dependable: Reliable and organized, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.Proactive: Anticipates issues before they arise and acts swiftly to resolve them.Growth-Oriented: Ambitious and willing to take on additional responsibilities, with the potential to grow into a full-time position.What We Offer:Flexible working hours to accommodate your schedule.Opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.Potential for growth into a full-time role.Competitive income on a contractor basis (e.g. you pay your own tax & claim GST on expenses, provide your own car, phone, pay for your own petrol etc).Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Familiarity with property management software or willingness to learn.Would ideally suit someone living close to the Wellington CBD, however not essential.If you are passionate about property management and thrive in a role where you can make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
