If you have previous leasing and accommodation management experience in a large complex with a focus on resident wellbeing and pastoral care, then this is the role for you!
This exciting full-time opportunity will commence in January 2025 in preparation for a Semester 1, 2025 opening.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations including the provision of superior customer service, reporting, budgeting, planning, marketing and owner relations.Manage pastoral care matters and critical incidents, referring residents to community and university support networks as required.Recruit, manage and develop a team of high performing employees.Build and maintain relationships with each key stakeholder group (investors, key learning institutions and body corporate).Ongoing property management of the apartments including inspections and maintenance requests.Manage the property's financial performance.Develop, implement, foster, and manage the Residential Life Program.Be a member of the first response team and attend to critical incidents outside of office hours.What you'll need to succeedThis role is not a standard hotel leadership role and will require previous experience in a similar capacity with a focus on leadership, pastoral care and wellbeing in a youth environment. To be successful you will need to have the following experience:
Previous operations management and leasing experience in the student accommodation, real estate or hospitality industry.Working experience with the Residential Tenancy Act 1986.Critical incident and pastoral care management experience is essential.Strong property management background.Previous experience with Console Property Management System would be advantageous.Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to problem-solve and manage conflict.A focus on service and quality with the passion to deliver outstanding experiences.Ability to provide evidence of a New Zealand Police Vetting (required).Why UniLodgeUniLodge specialise in student accommodation and have been an industry market leader since 1996.
