About the Role
Due to internal movement, we now have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Manager or aspiring Property Manager to join the EVES Bay of Plenty property management team. This is a full-time role that offers a diverse range of responsibilities across the residential rentals industry, aligning yourself with our well-known and well-established real estate brand.
As a Property Management Reliever, you will provide integral support to our Property Management teams. The key function of this role is to provide cover for our property managers allowing them the opportunity to go on leave knowing their portfolios are in good hands. When not covering a portfolio, you will partner with the property managers to provide workload support and get involved with other key projects ensuring the smooth operation of our property management services. This role involves working across different branches in the BOP, so flexibility and the ability to fit in with different teams and personalities is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide relief cover for Property Managers and Rental Administrators as directed by the General Manager.
Manage residential properties, ensuring efficient management of the property portfolio.
Conduct property inspections, manage lease terminations, and oversee evictions when necessary.
Maintain accurate records, manage advertising for available properties, and process rental applications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, landlords, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Proven experience in property management or a similar role.
Strong understanding of rental legislation and property management administration.
Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
