Our values are at the core of everything we do.The Role: As our Property Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination of maintenance and repair activities for our 51 kindergarten sites and 3 office sites.
This role involves working closely with our property team, head teachers, contractors, and service providers to ensure a seamless workflow and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Additionally, you will assist with account processing and grant application administration within our finance function.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities using our web-based property maintenance platform.Manage maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of maintenance tickets.Foster strong relationships with staff, contractors, and service providers to ensure effective communication.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and our policies.Monitor and control maintenance costs to stay within budget.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses.Collaborate with other departments to support their property-related needs.Assist with processing invoices and grant administration.What You Will Bring:A minimum of three years' experience in property maintenance or facilities coordination/administration.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Proficiency in using maintenance management software and financial web-based platforms.Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.A commitment to continuous improvement and high level of integrity and accountability.An understanding of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and Te Ao Maori, Te Reo Maori, Matauranga Maori, and a willingness to grow in this area.Legal entitlement to work in Aotearoa New Zealand, no criminal convictions, and compliance with the Vulnerable Children's Act.Location and Hours:Location: TokoroaHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with an hour for lunch.Why Join Us?Be part of a team that is enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about what we do.Work in a supportive and collaborative environment.Make a positive impact on the lives of children and the community.If you have the initiative, energy, and passion to work with an amazing team, we would love to hear from you!
