Property Contracts Lead – Lower South Island Regional Office

We are looking for a knowledgeable professional with a flair for spotting detail to join our National Property Team. You will be responsible for managing contracts across our Playcentre network and providing contract information to stakeholders. This role is based at the Lower South Island Regional Office in Dunedin. It is a fixed term role for 6 months.
The Property Contracts Lead role will work closely with various teams in our organisation to ensure contract compliance is met with regard to assets that are owned and leased. Your expertise will support projects and feed into future planning.
We're looking for someone who ideally has experience in a Contracts Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, or Construction or Trades role and with using Microsoft programmes, in particular SharePoint and Teams as well as a databases.

Location:Lower South Island Regional Office in Dunedin.
Days & hours:This a fixed term role for six months, working 40 hours per week.
The candidate must:Have great relationship management skills and a proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a wide range of people.
Desirable skills and experience will include:Experience in an ECE or Playcentre environment or in Property/Construction/Trades background is useful, as well as knowledge and an understanding of legislative and compliance requirements from stakeholders such as NZ Standards, MoE, FENZ etc. Experience or knowledge of Construction Contracts Act 2002 would be beneficial.
