Bayleys Whanganui is seeking a Property & Compliance Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term role, starting in January 2025.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to both the day-to-day management of residential properties and oversee compliance of the Healthy Homes standards across our entire portfolio.
About the Role: As the Property & Compliance Coordinator, you will: Manage a small portfolio of residential properties, ensuring excellent service to both landlords and tenants.Oversee Healthy Homes compliance for all properties, ensuring they meet government requirements for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture control, and more.Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors to coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and compliance upgrades.Maintain accurate records of compliance status, track deadlines, and provide regular updates to the team and property owners.Advise and support the wider property management team on compliance-related matters, helping to keep everyone informed and up to date with legislative changes.Key Skills & Attributes:Experience in property management is advantageous, but not essential.Knowledge of Healthy Homes compliance standards is highly desirable.Strong communication skills to liaise with property owners, tenants, and contractors.Attention to detail to track compliance across multiple properties and ensure deadlines are met.Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities.Tech-savvy, adaptable to using a range of software programs and maintaining digital records.Minimum of a restricted driver's license required for this role.Why Join Us?
