Are you looking to take the next step in your career?
GCA Lawyers, a high-performing and nationally recognised Christchurch-based law firm, is seeking a dynamic and driven lawyer to grow and lead our Property, Trusts, Commercial and Estate practice.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, build and maintain strong client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
The ideal candidate will:
Have strong expertise in Property, Trusts, Commercial and Estate law.
Be client-focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Be motivated to deliver exceptional results while building long-term client relationships.
Bring sound judgment and strategic thinking to legal challenges.
Supervise, mentor, and lead a team, while actively driving business development.
Demonstrate integrity, adaptability, curiosity, and resilience in their work.
Have an existing client base, or can demonstrate the ability to build one.
Hold (or be eligible to obtain) a practicing certificate.
While the role is aimed at what might be conventionally thought of as a "senior associate" level, we are also happy to discretely discuss opportunities for partners or principles of existing firms or sole practices who may be looking for something new or considering merger.
