The Opportunities: Principal Property Acquisition Manager As Principal Property Acquisition Manager, you will have a direct impact on the delivery of property solutions and the implementation of major infrastructure projects that will keep New Zealand moving, including some of the largest projects within the recently announced Roads of National Significance (RoNS).
You will help drive best practice in property acquisition to continuously improve the way we work and how we support the wider NZTA outcomes.
You will also be a key contact for our external property consultants and manage performance standards and the delivery of property relating to your projects.
Senior Property Acquisition Manager This is a pivotal role where you will be directly influencing a range of internal subject matter experts including project managers, legal, planning and communications along with managing our external property consultants.
You will also be responsible to lead and engage with key stakeholders including landowners, Iwi partners, local government agencies and local community.
You will help drive best practice in property acquisition to continuously improve the way we work and how we support wider NZTA outcomes.
Working as part of a regionally dispersed team you will help deliver NZTA's Property Acquisition Programme to support our transport system property programmes.

About you | Ko wai tenei To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous leadership experience would be an advantage.Experience in a similar or related property role.Well-developed communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate to achieve results.Knowledge and experience of property purchase under the Public Works Act 1981.Negotiation skills to assist with managing multi-party issues and/or difficult relationships.Strong collaboration and stakeholder management experience will be critical for you to be successful in this role.A relevant tertiary qualification.About us | Ko wai matou At the NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA), it all starts with our people.
