ABOUT US

Fabrum has built a reputation of pioneering world-first technologies in cryogenics and hydrogen solutions, fueled by our exceptional R&D capabilities. Fabrum completed its Series A capital raise in 2023, attracting $23M in investment from high profile global investors. Now, we're leveraging that innovative passion to take our solutions to the world.

Fabrum is headquartered in Christchurch, New Zealand and leads the world in industrialized small to medium scale liquefaction systems and composite cryogenic vessels. The company is actively deploying end to end liquid hydrogen solutions globally across heavy transport, mining and aviation markets. Core competencies include green hydrogen production, storage, dispensing and system integration. Fabrum also has a strong presence in the Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) markets of liquid nitrogen (LIN), liquid oxygen (LOX), LNG and Liquid Air (LAIR) with customers ranging from animal husbandry to hi-tech research institutions, manufacturing and defence.

We want to take our clever solutions and develop a better future by helping the world tread lightly.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Projects Director will lead the Project Management function at Fabrum as part of the Senior Leadership team. This pivotal role involves creating and implementing processes, standards, and reporting systems, while overseeing project delivery, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement within the organization.

You will have the opportunity to:

Lead the development and implementation of project management processes, standards, and reporting systems.
Take overall ownership for the project management function, including time, cost, and risk management.
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to manage Fabrum and subcontractor resources to achieve project outcomes.
Lead and develop a team of project managers and coordinators to work seamlessly with Engineering, Project Delivery, and Supply Chain functions.
Align the Project Management function with Fabrum's commercial strategy, including sustainable growth in Hydrogen Refueling Systems, Cryogenic Solutions such as liquefiers, and Composites technology development.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Proven leadership experience of a project management function.
Deep understanding of project management processes, reporting, risk management, and contract management.
Experience delivering complex technical projects, ideally with some engineering exposure.
The ability to cut through noise and develop structures, processes, and reporting which raise visibility, improve decision-making, and can scale.

RECRUITMENT

The recruitment process will be in three stages. A phone interview with HR, then an interview with CFO and Head of Engineering, followed by a competency interview with CEO.

This is a critical role, and we will be progressing applicants as they apply with a view to making an appointment as soon as possible.

APPLY

Join our growing company and realise your potential to make a real impact. We're searching for passionate individuals eager to contribute their skills and experience.

There's a lot of research which shows that some groups of people are less likely to apply for a role unless they are confident they meet 100% of the requirements. Fabrum is a growing company with a need for diversity of thought and experience. We want talented people who see the future as we do and that's much more important than ticking every box.
