Project Quality Manager - Otaki/Levin (Manawatu) With a healthy pipeline of future work, it is now an exciting time to join the McConnell Dowell family. We now have an excellent opportunity for a Project Quality Manager to join our high-performing team working across the Otaki to North Levin highway project. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of health & safety initiatives and practices that drive our culture of zero harm at McConnell Dowell. About the role Ensure that all employees are made aware of the project quality management requirements related to their scope of work Establish Supplier/Subcontractor quality requirements as per client specific requirements. Prepare and maintain the Project Audit Schedule in consultation with the BU Quality and Audit Managers Carry out and report audits in accordance with the Project Audit Schedule Establish and plan the controls for inspection and testing of construction works, materials and equipment onsite and offsite Identify all client and project hold and witness points and incorporate those into applicable ITPs Assist in providing suitably qualified personnel to meet the inspection and test requirements nominated on the ITP Monitor the use of ITPs, verification checklists and CEPs at regular intervals Evaluate the inspection and test results Ensure all inspection and test reports are accurate and timely submitted to the client for review Ensure measuring and testing equipment is suitably calibrated About your capability, behaviours and experience A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a Construction or large Infrastructure environment is required Demonstrated proficiency in Quality Management Systems and related software Relevant degree or its equivalent technical qualifications is needed Lead ISO 9001 Auditor certification. Proven track record in investigating and reporting quality incidents Familiarity with risk assessment and audit procedures and NZ Standards Ability to communicate clearly and concisely Don't tick all the boxes but you're still excited about this opportunity?
