The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of health & safety initiatives and practices that drive our culture of zero harm at McConnell Dowell.About the roleEnsure that all employees are made aware of the project quality management requirements related to their scope of workEstablish Supplier/Subcontractor quality requirements as per client specific requirements.Prepare and maintain the Project Audit Schedule in consultation with the BU Quality and Audit ManagersCarry out and report audits in accordance with the Project Audit ScheduleEstablish and plan the controls for inspection and testing of construction works, materials and equipment onsite and offsiteIdentify all client and project hold and witness points and incorporate those into applicable ITPsAssist in providing suitably qualified personnel to meet the inspection and test requirements nominated on the ITPMonitor the use of ITPs, verification checklists and CEPs at regular intervalsEvaluate the inspection and test resultsEnsure all inspection and test reports are accurate and timely submitted to the client for reviewEnsure measuring and testing equipment is suitably calibratedAbout your capability, behaviours and experienceA minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a Construction or large Infrastructure environment is requiredDemonstrated proficiency in Quality Management Systems and related softwareRelevant degree or its equivalent technical qualifications is neededLead ISO 9001 Auditor certification.Proven track record in investigating and reporting quality incidentsFamiliarity with risk assessment and audit procedures and NZ StandardsAbility to communicate clearly and conciselyDon't tick all the boxes but you're still excited about this opportunity?
