Bring your aptitude in administrational and process-focused work and be part of a valued team that is driving outstanding results for the Waipa District. This includes: Providing assistance with procurement activities, contract documentation, and reporting; Providing expertise and auditing around the Project Management Framework and contract administration; Involvement in training and upskilling Service Delivery staff around processes and process improvements. The role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to expand their skillset, gain technical expertise, and be part of a team doing exciting things for the Waipa District! About You Our successful candidate will be proactive and detail-minded, with excellent time management skills and plenty of initiative to make this varied role their own. Our ideal candidate will have: At least three years' experience in an administration or similar role; A relevant qualification, with practical experience in project or contract administration or at least an understanding of project management; Proficiency in the use of MS Office (essential) and Power BI (desirable). What's on Offer? At Waipa District Council we are committed to promoting better outcomes for our community and place value on our team in achieving this goal. There is emphasis on professional development, progression opportunities, and health and wellbeing initiatives (including helpful subsidies, such as gym discounts and health monitoring services, as well as a flexible work model) alongside other staff benefits (including coverage of a $100k life insurance scheme).
