In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing AT Business Technology (BT) projects, with a focus on delivering application solutions that support AT corporate functions.
Depending on the nature of the solution, you will use agile, traditional waterfall, or hybrid/blended project delivery approaches to ensure that agreed capabilities, timelines, and budgets are respected.
In accordance with AT's agile operating model for our Technology team, you may retain ongoing responsibility for the operation and evolution of solutions delivered for the business.
There is a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and management.You will also be responsible for acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party vendors, contractors, and consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
Additionally, you will oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.In this role you will bring direct work experience in a project capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution in managing medium-large teams, preferably in a political or highly complex organisation.
Tertiary qualified, you will be Certified in PMP, Prince 2, Agile Project Management (e.g.
SAFe) or equivalent industry recognised qualification.A strong communicator and influencer, you will have excellent analytical and delivery skills combined with business acumen and pragmatism.
You will possess sound judgment and display good decision-making processes.
You will have the ability to contribute directly to, and take ownership of, decisions within commercial, financial and human resource management constraints.You will be a team player who displays understanding and awareness of the environment in which AT operates, works toward the collective interest of the organisation and empathises with the notion of 'public good'; to 'make a difference' to the Auckland region.At AT, we embrace inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued and supported, inclusive of our differences.
