The role will work to initiate and facilitate projects from start to completion, working to problem solve where needed to complete work. This will include engaging with the appropriate stakeholders for each project, when and where is needed and communicating well to them along the way. In addition, reporting on progress and outputs will be critical for a range of audiences including kaimahi and senior management.The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with 5 years managing projects, ideally within the tertiary education or aligned sectors. You would have experience working in kaupapa Maori settings and with a wide range of stakeholders and customers at different levels of an organization.You will also ideally bring with you:Proven organisational planning and / or project delivery experienceAdvanced negotiating and influencing skillsDemonstrated analysis and problem-solving skillsAdvanced report writing skillsWorking understanding of risk management processesSound administrative and coordination skillsIntermediate negotiating and influencing skillsAs a kaupapa Maori organization, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori will be key.Have we outlined a role that matches your capabilities and aspirations, and a workplace that appeals?Applications close on 20 November 2024.A position description is available on our careers website.
