About the role: Selwyn District Council has a new Project Manager role to join our Strategy and Policy Team. Your key responsibilities will be to ensure the teams projects are delivered within budget and on time. As the Project Manager Strategy Delivery, you will drive us towards the successful delivery of multiple projects within our group, in line with our project delivery framework.
You'll be responsible for: Leading the development of and maintaining our project plans.Recording and monitoring risks, issues, decisions, and interdependencies.Managing budget and purchase order tracking related to the projects.Planning engagement with internal and external stakeholders required to achieve the project outcomes.Scheduling and coordinating project steering groups, including producing relevant supporting reports and updates.About you: As the Project Manager Strategy Delivery, you have 3 years of project management experience, ideally in strategy delivery. You will be an effective self-starter focused on providing solutions and outcomes that are in line with best practice. You will understand what it takes to bring people together to achieve results and be able to communicate and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders (both internally and externally), ensuring they feel well-informed and have a high level of trust.
