Due to expansion, they are now hiring for a Project Manager to look after several of their key clients.This role is to build upon, maintain and develop relationships with key clients that have a range of facilities / assets that have ongoing requirements for Maintenance, Renovations, Upgrades & Further Building Works.PROJECT DIVERSITYProjects / work ranging from $50K to $5M+ in valueSmall Works & Maintenance, Building Upgrades / Renovations & Insurance WorksHealthcare – Medical Facilities, Surgical Units, Imaging Centres & moreGovernment – Educational Institutions, Community Facilities & Public BuildingsCommercial – Offices, Wineries, Retail & Hospitality & Industrial UnitsResidential – Individual Homes, Large Residential Developments & Community HousingWHATS ON OFFER FOR YOU?Basic salary from $110K - $130KFully expensed company vehicle, business & personalPhone and laptop providedKiwiSaver contributionsProfessional & career development opportunitiesTHE ROLEResponsible for looking after key clients and their assets in the local Hawke's Bay areaEstablish / build upon strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure repeat businessDevelop and implement reactive and proactive maintenance plans for clients assetsDefine scope of works and provide pricing for a range of maintenance, renovations / upgrades and relevant building works.Project planning, project timelines, schedules & resource allocationManagement of direct reports and overseeing sub-contractorsReviews of processes, suppliers and contractors for opportunities to increase profitFinancial management – Monitor and control project budgets, prepare financial reports and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Must have strong business development / account management skillsA Project Manager with 3 years+ of experience with a NZ based main contractorIdeally trade qualified as a Carpenter / Builder, or relevant related backgroundNew Zealand experience is a MUST for this role as we require strong knowledge of NZ building codes, regulations and industry standardsTechnical knowledge and understanding of NZ construction techniques / materialsStrong communication skills for internal and client managementProficient in NZ costing and project management softwareGood analytical and problem-solving skills
