We're looking for several talented Project Managers to deliver new, and maintain existing, critical city-wide infrastructure.
You will join the Hamilton City Council Design & Deliver team of over 60 staff in providing critical infrastructure to ensure the resilience and growth of Hamilton.
Let's talk if you have relevant Project Management experience in any of the following fields: 3 WatersTransportCommunity FacilitiesParks and RecreationEvent VenuesBuildingsUrban Development We are seeking someone with these types of skills, experience and attitude: Previous experience in a Project Management role, ideally with a Tertiary qualification in Project Management and / or Civil Engineering and even Project Management accreditation (for example, Prince2 or PMP).Understanding and experience of programme, financial and risk management.Experience of managing small, medium and/or large scale (million-dollar+) capital delivery projects.Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders.The ability to work hard while understanding balancing that with positive team culture and collegiality.
A team player is a must! What will I do? You will be responsible for project planning, scope definition, design, procurement, contract management, commissioning, quality assurance, implementation and project reporting.
