Job Title: Project Manager - REMOTE - Work from Home Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, eager-to-learn Project Manager, ideally with 5 years of experience, bright, capable and ready to be trained in our specific methodologies. This role is critical for someone who is passionate about software products, possesses excellent customer service skills, and exhibits strong organizational capabilities coupled with genuine enthusiasm. The chosen candidate will be mentored directly by our senior team leaders, to adopt our project management style, focusing on software product knowledge, client engagement, and process optimization. We are a software company building SaaS technology products with a focus on the federal government. Key Responsibilities: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, ensuring daily communication and effective project oversight. Assist in the development of project plans, budgets, and schedules, taking initial responsibility for smaller components and gradually taking on more complex tasks. Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes. Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule. Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure customer needs are met, acting as a bridge between technical solutions and client requirements. Prepare and maintain project documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and effective communication across all project phases. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Project Management, etc.) or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience post-graduation in a project management or related role delivering SaaS, web, or customization and integration projects. Experience working with government agency clients as the project lead. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes, with a strong interest in software products and project management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to present information clearly and concisely. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a readiness to take initiative and embrace new challenges. Technological proficiency, especially with project management tools, and a willingness to learn and master new software. Must be US Citizen. Desired Attributes: A quick learner, capable of understanding new products and technologies, and effectively integrating this knowledge into their work. Creative and innovative thinking, with the ability to suggest improvements and contribute to process development. Organized and meticulous, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. A team player who can collaborate effectively with various internal teams and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Additional Information: This role is particularly suited for individuals early in their career who are technically inclined, highly motivated, and show potential for rapid growth. The position requires a willingness to engage deeply with our product and processes, and the ability to work closely with senior management to evolve in the role. Preference for candidates located on the East Coast to facilitate collaboration and potential travel to client sites or our DC office as needed.
