Join us.We're looking for a Project Manager (Property) to join our team right in the heart of Queenstown's CBD! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that's shaping the future of QLDC's property portfolio.What you'll be doing / He aha te mahiIn this role, you'll take charge of delivering a diverse range of Property projects, from policy-based initiatives to Capital Works ventures. You'll provide hands-on project management and work closely with consultant project managers, offering direction and support to ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of property renewal projects.The role will involve:Developing and maintaining project plans and schedules, ensuring successful delivery and tracking of project objectives and benefitsOverseeing procurement of services to enable the effective delivery of projectsMonitoring project performance, providing regular reporting, and implementing mitigation actions to improve outcomesEnsuring health and safety standards, risk management, and compliance with contract requirements are upheld throughout project delivery.What you'll bring to the role / Ko wai to PukekaYou will have at least 5 years of experience in Property project management and a minimum of 2 years delivering capital projects for Local Government, Central Government, or related private sector initiatives.
