This new project manager role is key in them managing their workflows and further stepping up their service delivery levels.
As a project manager of their painting and decorating division, you will sit across a broad range of projects from start to completion. You will be responsible for the day-to-day team management and running of each job, through to supporting with the quoting and pricing of jobs ensuring they are profitable. Throughout each project, you will allocate and ensure all materials are on hand, oversee the quality of work, monitor progress and keep clients informed along the way. So there will be a really good mix here to keep you busy, and you will be well supported by the experience of a team of project managers around you.
To be successful here, you will be well known for your people management skills, be results driven and will likely have sat across project management in a trades-related practices. Knowledge of painting processes and product is highly desired. You will need to enjoy working at pace and be able to manage many priorities and demands at any one time. You will know how to manage and get the best out of people, have strong communication and organizational skills, and be professional in your approach.
