Job Description - Project Manager - Oral Health (HAM01540) Job Number Job Number : HAM01540 Where you'll be working: Waikato Hospital & 51 Gallagher Drive, Oral Health Waikato The details: Fixed Term for 1 year – 80 hours per fortnight Be part of the national transformation in Health Collaborative and Inclusive Team Lead and deliver an exciting and diverse plan of work across the Oral Health Service Flexible Working Arrangements Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity We are looking for a Project Manager who is a self-starter and who has a successful track record of delivery excellence. Lead and be responsible for projects within the Integrated Oral Health Service with a focus on facilitating participation by vulnerable population groups. Your mahi will span across the community Oral Health space in the Waikato region to ensure optimal health outcomes and safe clinical delivery. Consideration will be given to Equity, sustainability and organisational future planning. You will need to have the right attitude, be a complimentary team fit and have the capability to deliver small to medium projects across the Oral Health space. We will expect you to be robust in your processes, passionate about healthcare, innovative and professional in delivery to our customers' needs. The ability to show courage and resilience to manage our business stakeholders as well as seeking business information or clarification when required, whilst also ensuring you deliver required outcomes within expected timeframes. Preferred Skills: Project Management Experience Formal Project Management Training (Prince2 Practitioner or SAFe Certified) Knowledge of the Waikato campus site Finance and Budget experience An ability to engage with and work alongside a range of stakeholders Reporting and written presentation skills Bring together a plan that raises awareness and encourages participation in the programme Experience in healthcare and/or hospital management is essential for this role Desired Skills: Experience in the Oral Health space Team or Service Delivery Management Experience Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the application of the articles Level 1 Basic Understanding of Te Reo Maori me ona Tikanga Waikato Hospital is a tertiary level teaching hospital servicing approximately 700 beds, supplying a full range of services to one of the most diverse and geographically widespread regions in the country.
