Project Manager - Mount Maungnaui

$200,000 + package (Salary, allowances, bonuses)
Our client, The Sanderson Group are pioneers in the retirement village sector. NZ owned and operated, they have a long history and strong reputation for delivering beautifully designed, luxury retirement properties and other commercial developments through New Zealand.
The Pitau is a 6-storey $300M+ development located in the heart of Mt Maunganui, consisting of 3 separate towers connected via a podium basement. The development will have 152 independent apartments and 69 care suites completed to a high-end luxury finish.
The Role As the Project Manager of The Pitau, you will manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key tasks will include:
Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitoring/reporting on progress against these plans.
Overall management of the project team and site-based resources.
Contributing to buildability and construction methodologies and identifying any value management opportunities.
Stakeholder management between consultants, suppliers, neighbors, and the internal management team.
Procurement, tendering, and managing key construction contracts.
Requirements The ideal candidate will possess:
Main contractor - Ideally 10 years' experience in Project Management within the main commercial contracting New Zealand market.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex construction projects of a similar nature - 6 storey +.
Robust financial acumen and commercial awareness, adept at managing budgets, contracts, and procurement processes.
Proficiency in navigating the ongoing resource consent and building consent processes.
