They are currently looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing growth.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects while leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing on-site operations.
You will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.Plan and coordinate projects, including defining scope, budgets, and timelines, while developing schedules, allocating resources, and managing risks.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and fostering strong relationships.Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and deliverables to maintain transparency and alignment with stakeholders.Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage on-site activities to ensure project goals, deadlines, and safety standards are met.Track project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics, ensuring accurate documentation and conducting post-project reviews.Review and create 3D layouts, ensuring design quality and compliance with project requirements.Provide technical guidance and maintain strong supplier relationships to achieve high-quality results.Required Qualifications & Experience:A relevant trade qualification or degree, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.Minimum of 3 years of hands-on project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, designs, and project specifications.Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.Experience with CAD software (e.g., Autodesk products) and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).Full, valid driver's license and a solid understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.Desirable Skills & Attributes:A proactive and solutions-oriented approach with the ability to manage complex projects.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.Willingness to travel to project sites as required.Please note: You must have NZ residency to be considered for this position.With our client, you'll be part of a forward-thinking team that is dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.
