Job Title: Project Manager - Integration
Location: Wellington, hybrid working from office and home

Introduction: Come join our organization where you will play a pivotal role in integrating some key initiatives into our evolving data infrastructure. This role is essential to delivering comprehensive, multi-agency solutions that will shape the future of New Zealand's education system.
You'll work closely with 2 other key Ministries to lead the cross-agency delivery of these initiatives. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our portion of the design and development is completed on time and meets the programme's objectives. This work will be foundational in ensuring that our key initiatives are successfully integrated into our data system framework.
Key Responsibilities Cross-Agency Delivery Management: Collaborate with our Product Owners and policy teams to define requirements and develop solutions for our key initiatives.
Work with our Programme Leadership to set priorities, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks across the programme.
Coordinate with the other 2 Ministries project managers to monitor progress and ensure that cross-agency delivery is aligned.
Develop and manage high-level milestones in collaboration with the 2 Ministries, ensuring they fit within our delivery framework.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between us and other government agencies for the delivery of our initiatives.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project managers and our staff involved in the programme.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across the 2 Ministries and ourselves, to ensure alignment and resolve any risks or issues.
Requirements And Design Development: Lead the development of detailed requirements and designs for our components of our initiatives solutions.
Ensure that the requirements and designs are accurate, complete, and ready for handover to our Delivery Leads for development and testing.
Programme Management: Lead the release management and transition planning across our programme.
Support the identification and management of internal dependencies and risks across the delivery.
Reporting: Provide input into programme reporting to our Steering Group.
Develop and deliver reports for the Cross-Agency Steering Group.
Key Skills And Experience Cross-Agency Project Management: Minimum of 5 years of experience leading multi-organisational technical projects, particularly in agile environments.
Requirements and Design Leadership: Strong background in developing and delivering requirements and designs for large-scale solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring their needs are accurately captured and represented.
Release Management: Experience in leading release management across large-scale technical deliveries.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities in complex, multi-organisational environments.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong reporting capabilities.
