This full-time position is available in either Mangawhai or Dargaville with WFH options.

The district is undergoing a remarkable phase of significant growth and transformation, offering an opening for a dynamic Project Manager to become an integral part of our close-knit Infrastructure Project Delivery team.
About the opportunity
Are you a skilled and dynamic Project Manager ready to make an impact?
Join us in delivering a diverse portfolio of capital projects that will help bring our Long-Term Plan (LTP) to life for our communities.
From initial design through to completion, you'll manage scope, procurement, risks, and dependencies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Your expertise will help maximise the benefits of these critical initiatives.
About you
You bring proven experience in managing large infrastructure projects, supported by strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
With a talent for building relationships and influencing at all levels, you pair technical expertise with sharp problem-solving and attention to detail.
In a fast-paced environment, you excel at managing priorities and delivering results.
In addition, you will have:

3+ years' proven experience in infrastructure project management.
Hands-on experience in 3 Waters, civil projects, and commercial construction.
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering and project management (preferred).
Expertise in procurement and managing professional services and capital works contracts, with a strong grasp of procurement principles.
A track record of effectively managing project finances and budgets.
The ability to manage contractors while building and maintaining strong working relationships.
