Full time
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Projects team for a fixed term of 24 months.
Reporting to the Projects Implementation Manager, the primary function of this role is to design and execute capital projects for Channel Terminal Services.
What will you be doing? Coordinating projects across the site, including oversight of project plans to ensure they are completed to schedule and within budget.
Ensure the impact of project works on customers is minimised and integrated with site operations.
Assist with the development of long-term project management processes.
Support cross-functional project teams in the delivery of projects from concept design to implementation.
Pro-actively manage relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, in particular contractors used to support the capital program.
Consistently apply management of change and project management controls methodologies to manage team deliverables.
Ensure work executed meets quality requirements by setting and agreeing performance standards, monitoring against these and taking corrective action when necessary.
Develop, monitor, review and report performance against suitable KPI's in order to drive continuous improvement for project services provided to clients and stakeholders.
What will you bring? Minimum 8 years' experience in oil & gas, bulk liquid storage or equivalent complex heavy manufacturing industries.
Demonstrated track record of instilling a safety culture including working knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislation in particular conduct and participate in risk assessments.
Extensive people and organisational leadership of a large workforce, including previous responsibility across complex maintenance and engineering. Must have led a medium-large scale business improvement, maintenance management, change management and business case development.
Engineering Degree or Diploma or equivalent qualification in engineering.
Minimum 8 years' experience in project planning of petrochemical assets, including demonstrated knowledge of project management competencies, project planning, cost control and contractor management.
