About the roles We have two Project Manager opportunities available: Permanent, full-time role - Leading the delivery of high priority projects across the organisationFixed-term, full-time role - Through to 30 June 2025, with a focus on delivering key projects within the set timelineBoth roles are part of a supportive and evolving team, undergoing a capability uplift to enhance focus on critical activities and priority projects.
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, to the agreed scope and quality standards.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from developing key project artefacts and collateral to managing processes such as stakeholder engagement, change management, and risk identification.
Key responsibilities You will work with and support the Project Management Office Manager by: executing key project processes, including resource and capacity planning, vendor management, scheduling, governance, reporting, financial oversight, and communication strategiescreating and managing high-quality project documentationeffectively identifying, escalating, and managing project risks and issueskeeping all relevant stakeholders - such as the Project Sponsor and PMO - regularly updated on project status and progresssupporting the PMO team in the development and implementation of project management standards, frameworks, processes, and templatestaking on additional responsibilities as delegated to further contribute to the success of the team and organisation.You will bring the following: Proven experience in managing multiple high priority projects in dynamic environmentsStrong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insightsHighly developed organisational skills and attention to detailThe ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelinesExperience or knowledge of the electricity sector, regulatory or policy-focused environments is desirable (but not mandatory)Why work for us?
