Are you passionate about project management? Do you want to develop your career by bringing projects and exhibitions to life at Te Papa? We have a great opportunity to join us as a Project Manager in our Project Management Office (PMO). The projects we deliver are diverse - from exhibitions, to public programmes, to commercial activity, digital programmes, to our operational requirements, to maintaining our buildings that house our National taonga. About you: You have been a Project Manager for 3+ years and can demonstrate, within small to moderate sized projects, end-to-end project management discipline from initiation to project close out. Qualified or part qualified in Prince 2 or PMI or other recognised qualification/membership. High level of competence in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams. You have polished communication skills both written and verbal. As your work touches on many teams, you'll be a 'people person' first and foremost, understanding and prioritising the relationships with Te Papa teams, our contractors and suppliers. You will be a team player and actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of our project management approach and how we do things in the PMO. About us: Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national museum housing the treasures of the nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors. It is also a meeting place, a place for lifelong learning, and a place that inspires a sense of wonder and connection. Te Papa is an amazing organisation to work for and we have bold aspirations for the future. The starting salary for this position will be between $79,299 - $94,167 pa with further room for progression through the band. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees. Among others, these include subsidised car parking and free entry to paid exhibitions. If you thrive in a flexible working environment and are ready to take the next step, please apply online, complete the application form, and attach your CV and cover letter today. Applications close on Sunday 18 August 2024. Applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain the legal right to work in New Zealand. Prior to Te Papa confirming any offer of employment, pre-employment checks will be undertaken including criminal conviction history and reference checking as a minimum. #J-18808-Ljbffr
