We welcome and encourage women, and people from diverse backgrounds to apply.Job DescriptionCome join our amazing Distribution Central team and be a part of the pioneers in energy transition.Responsibilities:Ordering of the major items of materials and equipment for projects.Planning the project utilizing computer-based planning packages to ensure milestones are achieved and resources optimized.Achieving project margins, identifying any problems with cost and time implications, and taking corrective action as required.Ensuring that all required company and contractual reporting is completed correctly and on time.Re-estimating labor to complete the job at the end of each month.Identifying all variations are identified, submitted, and authorized by the client.Ensuring that both Omexom and the client comply with the Contract Agreement.Ensuring that the monthly progress claims are presented correctly on the due dates.Managing labor to maintain excellent productivity and industrial relations.Applying the industry codes of practice and ensuring they are complied with on each project.Ensuring safe working methods and the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act are followed and communicated to all staff through regular site meetings.Estimation and design for capital & customer work.Planning execution of projects to network standards and outage requirements.Build relationships with key customers and key partners for work execution.Qualifications and Skills:Engineering Degree, or similar.Hands-on experience in electrical and construction project management.Possess estimating/tendering skills, with an ability to be hands-on.A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.Knowledge of industry contracting procedures and contract law.Excellent inter-personal skills with customers at all levels.Perks and Benefits:Company provided health insurance for employees and dependents.Access to VINCI Shares.6% KiwiSaver employer contribution and 9% after 10 years of service.Career Advancement Opportunities.Company vehicle provided.How to apply:If you like the sound of what we're offering and think you are the right person for the job, we'd love to hear from you.
