We also purchase major equipment which becomes a capability when it is used by those in service of the New Zealand Defence Force.Mo te tunga I About the role (and Project)The Cyber Security and Support Capability project (CSSC) is a business change and investment initiative that will work alongside other projects, programmes and initiatives in support of the 2025 Integrated Defence Force Strategy to protect the Defence Force networks, platforms and people and support operations. The CSSC project is focused on delivering the Ministry's first tranche of work, as well as developing future business cases.Reporting to the Integrated Project Leader (IPTL), you will join a high-profile project for Defence in the Information Domain of our Capability Delivery Division.In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of project management across a number of workstreams, including scheduling, project reporting, financial forecasting and reporting, and oversight of project management artefacts.You will support the IPTL through all the elements of the capability life cycle. The Ministry supports career and skill development and has a number of internal communities of practise operating to support the delivery of large complex capabilities for the Defence Force, allowing you to contribute across the Capability Delivery division and the wider Ministry.
