We are searching for high-performing Project Managers to add value, diversity, and experience to our Delivery of Projects team.Play a significant role in supporting one of NZ's largest Government departments.Multiple positions available, based in Wellington.Nga kawenga | About the roleThis is a great opportunity for experienced Project Managers to gain new knowledge and experience in a unique property portfolio.
In this role you will be managing projects across a wide and varied network including Correctional Facilities, Leased and Owned Office space and residential like homes/units.We are looking for Project Managers who lead with passion and drive projects to success from start to finish.
As a Project Manager you will mentor and empower the team, ensuring projects meet high standards of safety, quality, and timeliness.With the ability to engage stakeholders and tackle challenges head-on, you will be innovative and drive continuous improvement.
With a strong focus on inclusivity, safety, and professional development, you will create a dynamic and impactful project environment.In the broadest sense, if you like to be responsible for planning, organising, and managing the completion of a project, while ensuring that it delivers the expected results on time, on budget, and within scope we have a job for you.To be successful in this role you will bring:Project management experience in assets, property, or construction disciplines.Experience managing assets or construction projects.Ability to build and lead bespoke / tailored project teams and proactively manage key project stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation experience, including the ability to influence and build consensus.Experience in skilfully identifying risks and issues, and successfully implementing plans to resolve these to ensure project delivery.Experience in navigating through governance and investment propositions.The midpoint of the salary range is $121,124 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $102,956 - $145,349 per annum.
