Project Manager

Project Manager
Company:

New Zealand Frost Fans Limited

Details of the offer

We are Reveal, a rapidly growing technology company. We're on a mission to map the world's underground and need awesome people like you to make it happen. The infrastructure that powers our cities is largely hidden under our feet—water, energy, and communications. But no one really knows what's underground. The plans are often inaccurate, unreliable, incomplete, and inaccessible. When the roads are dug up to maintain that infrastructure, things nearly always go wrong. This slows down every major infrastructure project, costing society billions every year. Even worse, the poor existing information results in accidents and harm to the people working on those projects.Reveal helps solve this problem. Our technology has become the go-to platform for insights on subsurface utilities and infrastructure.About you As our Project Manager, you will oversee and allocate resources to plan and execute projects on time and within internally agreed-upon budgets that exceed our clients' expectations. These projects will involve data collection and processing and then delivery through our technology platforms.Being early in our journey means we all need to be hands-on in a variety of functional areas – we are Swiss army knives in human form. Therefore, this role will play a key role in understanding our client's problems and needs when it comes to utilising subsurface information and feeding this through to our technology team to inform product development. As with any role in Reveal, the early stage of our journey means this role must flex to the evolving needs of the business.Ideally, you'll bring some great experience from a similar role – it doesn't have to have been exactly the same! The important stuff we are looking for is:You'll ideally have experience in civil construction or engineeringYou'll have had some experience managing projects from inception to completion, including establishing clear deliverables, managing internal and external stakeholders, managing budgets and resource planning. You're keen to have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and workflows within Reveal, driving us towards even greater success. You bring a practical mindset and are enthusiastic about learning whatever is needed. You love working with and supporting others to be the best they can be by driving excellence. You are able to 'muck in' to get stuff done (if necessary) - you're definitely not precious about your job description, but you will also know where your boundaries are (and those of your team and peers) and make them clear if they are being pushed. You'll be able to efficiently prioritise when multiple objectives are being pursued and be happy to engage with our ELT when decisions need to be escalated. You embody the Reveal values – Look After, Look Deeper and Be Electric. You are keen to get involved, embrace the diversity of thought, and naturally challenge the status quo.We recognise that everyone is different, and we are deeply committed to building a team that is as diverse as Aotearoa, New Zealand and ensuring our inclusive environment is always one where our people can bring and be their best. So, if the above resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you.As we scale up, you'll grow with us. Our rapid expansion means a host of opportunities will be available to you over the next few years – it's up to you which one you grab!About Reveal In an industry that moves as quickly as ours, agility and the ability to galvanise quickly are key. Our team has both. We're nationally spread, with plans to grow internationally. We're not a typical technology company. In fact, for ten years now, Reveal's expertise has been built on being out in the field, often with mud on our boots, investigating and mapping the underground. As we prepare to dramatically scale up the software side of our business, we're determined to hold on to the strengths that have served us well. We're truly multi-disciplinary in our approach. We learn in context. Software developers sit next to geophysicists; engineers sit next to surveyors. Our collective industry knowledge and technical expertise are huge. Everyone brings their unique skillset to the table, and we regularly raid each other's technical toolkits. You can expect to have your brain picked – and to do plenty of picking yourself. We love new technology – discovering it, testing it, using it – and we understand that it's not our future; it's our now. So be ready for the opportunities and see what you can make of them.We work hard, enjoy what we do, and take pride in delivering the best possible results for our clients. In a nutshell, we're problem solvers and can always use a new brain. Join us.The small print You must have the right to work in New Zealand. The role is Wellington or Auckland-based.How to apply If you're interested, hit the "Apply" button and send us your CV along with a cover letter with a few sentences about why you're interested and how you're a good fit for what we are looking for.Questions or keen to see a job description?
