The job
As Project Manager in our Wanaka Jobbing & Insurance team, you'll be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that work is delivered on time and to budget without compromising quality. You'll be capable of running multiple projects at a time and will be the go-to person for everything involving each project's organization and timeline.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in construction, including residential; LBP would be advantageous
An analytical and logical approach to organizing and carrying out your work
Good oral and written communication skills
Personal drive, initiative, and a natural curiosity to understand and solve problems
Strong understanding of the H&S at Work Act
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and good numeracy
Ability to work as part of a team, but confident when working independently and unsupervised
Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, including MS Project) and ability to learn new technology quickly
Ability to build relationships both internally and externally with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients alike
