You'll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring all project milestones are met on time, within scope, and within budget. You will also apply your estimating skills to provide accurate costings and deliverables, helping to maximise the profitability of each project.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate project estimates and costings using AutoCAD and relevant software.Analyse project scope and specifications, ensuring cost-effective solutions.Manage tender processes and engage with stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors).Leadership & Team Development:Lead by example, mentoring and guiding project teams with clear communication and strong direction.Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.Manage project efficiencies and ensure projects stay within costs.Ensure all contractual obligations are met, keeping within budget and timeline constraints.Project Management:Lead, manage, and oversee multiple construction projects from inception to completion.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track.What We're Looking For:Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction/building industry in New Zealand.Strong estimating skills and expertise in using AutoCAD.Proven leadership abilities with driving projects forward.Exceptional commercial acumen, with the ability to manage project costs, contracts, and financial reporting effectively.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.A proactive attitude with the ability to take the initiative and make decisions that drive project success.A solid understanding of New Zealand's building regulations and industry standards is highly regarded.Please note: This role does not offer sponsorship, neither overseas or onshore.
