Project Manager

This is a successful main contractor that has proven experience delivering multi-residential projects and hotels across NZ. The business is in sound financial shape, run by astute directors with proven experience and aptitude in navigating all parts of the economic cycle. They run a small yet efficient team and pride themselves on shaping a down-to-earth team culture with a complete solutions-driven client ethic.They are now looking to identify a PM for a project commencing in the new year. The PM will then build a site team around this person.The project itself is a $30M build comprising 68 hotel rooms, 9 apartments, plus retail spaces and a conference room. This will require the staged demolition of an existing heritage building with structural steel/comflor/façade system structure with interface with a heritage façade. The project is envisaged to be 20 months.As a PM, you will take responsibility for the project from start to finish managing a site team.The key background for this role is:A trade background ideally, with 10+ years of experience operating as a PM, including strong all-round knowledge of Civil/Structure/Apartment fit-out/Façade/Passive fire.A strong understanding of H&S/QA and managing systems.Knowledge and understanding of the development process.An understanding of the RC/LUC and BC processes.Strong at programming and sequencing.Strong with admin sharing documentation, specifications, and controlling plan revisions.Experienced with managing shop drawings, sign-offs, and approvals.Excellent communicator, both written and oral.Remuneration: $165K- $180K + vehicle.For further information, please call Matt on 0275544064 or send your resume to ******.
