Within our Protective Coatings division, we are looking for a Project Manager type role who can co-ordinate and manage resources across multiple projects and be the main point of contact for clients during the delivery phase of a project. They will hold overall responsibility for Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental compliance, as well as preparing and driving project programmes and financial performance. Additionally, they will assist the Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyors in preparation of claims, variations and monthly reporting. About You:
Results-driven with proven experience working as a commercial/project manager in the Industrial painting or closely related business
Commercially astute with an ability to challenge the status quo
Adaptable with fantastic interpersonal skills and a high EQ
Analytical, able to identify areas of opportunity and improvement and act to implement change
Strong training and development skills and experience - it's up to you to help these teams succeed and thrive

What you will need:
A track record of client-facing roles and interaction on developing ongoing relationships
A minimum of 4 years experience in a project manager, operations management or commercial manager position
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer relationship and people management skills
Growth mindset
A full, clean driver's license
A "Can-Do" attitude, a willingness to learn, and a healthy sense of humour
This role reports to the General Manager and Contracts Manager of the Protective Coatings Team. You will need to be flexible to travel around meeting clients, with potential for nationwide coverage, so flexibility around travel is required.
